Ben Hale, President

Ben Hale is President of Divot Communication Corp, Exclusive Links Card Corp and Par 4 Marketing Corp. He began his journey into golf marketing back in 1991 when he founded Divot Communication Corp and published the magazine Vermont Golf. He has since added six other Northeast titles to the portfolio and has become the largest region golf publisher in the country. Soon after the release of Vermont Golf he founded the Exclusive Links Card Program in Vermont to offer golfers a better way to save money while playing some of the top courses around the state. Mirroring the Vermont Card is the New Hampshire / Maine Exclusive Links Card, with 51 courses offering discounts for 2003. Ben recently formed Par 4 Marketing Corp to handle the web-based areas of the business. Par 4 owns the website PlayNortheastGolf.com, which has become a powerful information source for golfers and industry professionals throughout the Northeast.

David Honeywell, Director of Sales

Now in his 10th year with Divot Communication Corp, David Honeywell began when the company published the Vermont, New Hampshire and New York Golf magazines. The nation’s largest publishing company has now grown to also include publications in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey.

Having spent nearly a decade in the hospitality industry as well as playing golf for over 25 years, Dave brings a strong understanding of golf marketing and background to the travel & tourism aspect of the publications. Developing relationships with the advertisers and thoroughly understanding their property and/or products is something that Dave takes very seriously. This is a very important component as Dave is often the representative staffing the various travel and trade show booths that take him to cities throughout the Northeast.
